We read in Exodus 3:14 where the Lord says to Moses, “Tell them I AM WHO I AM, and He said, “You will say this to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Moses didn’t have to explain who I AM was, it was clear to those who heard this Name.
Upon studying the Bible, we discover God is a Man of many names, and each one comes with a promise to His children. I’ve selected ten scriptures that reveal a name for God. He is a Man of His Word and we can count of Him in our times of need.
God is our Healer – Exodus 15:26
He said, “If you diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will not afflict you with any of the diseases with which I have afflicted the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”
God is our Deliver – Psalm 70:5
But I am poor and needy; make haste to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay!
God is our Hope – Romans 15:13
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
God is our Strength – Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, a well-proven help in trouble.Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
God is our Lord of Peace –Psalm 29:11
The Lord will give strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.
God is our Provider – Philippians 4:19

God is our Helper – Isaiah 41:10
For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, “Do not fear; I will help you.”
God is our Guide – Psalm 48:14
For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death.
God is Our Vindicator – Psalm 57:2-3
I will cry to God Most High, to God who vindicates me. He will send from heaven and save me from the taunt of the one who crushes me. Selah. God will send forth His mercy and His truth.
Yes; God is a Man of many names, and as we read the Bible, we will discover what those names are and how they can be applied in our daily lives. I selected just ten, but there are several others.
Everything about God is good, and there’s countless of testimony stories to demonstrate what He has done, and what He will do, for those whom call upon His wonderful Name. Hallelujah!
