I woke up this past Sunday morning around 3:15 am. I realized I was coming out of dream, and in the tail end of it I distinctly heard, “God can do all.” This prompted me to get up, grab my Bible, and read 2 Corinthians 9:8. Now I’ve read that verse countless of time. I even have a coffee mug with that verse written on it so it’s familiar to me. It’s a great one to remember, when things are going great and especially when there’s not.
Let’s take note of how many times the word all is mentioned in the New Kings James Version: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Did you notice what is says about all? All grace; all sufficiency; all things. God’s gift of salvation also includes spending eternity with Jesus in heaven. Now that’s the all I’m looking forward to!
I love it when the Bible says all. Yes; God is able to do all. God can do all. Nothing is impossible for Him.
These four words are forever tucked in my heart and mind. The words are Lord gave me will enable me to encourage others.
My husband and I decided to attend the morning service at the New Road Pentecostal Church. We have a music ministry, and were invited to sing a song. Before we sang, I shared my dream. I emphasized again the word all, that God can do all. My words were meant to encourage and believe they did.
This morning, my life-long friend, Louise indicated she was in need of prayer, specifically regarding her heart. I asked her to place her hand on her heart, and while I prayed for her, I shared with her my dream and the words, God can do all. Louise wrote these words down. They brought encouragement to her as she said them out loud.
This is only day 1 after the dream. How many more people will be Lord put in my path to share these encouraging words?
I am surrounded by people in need of encouragement. Some have great needs, and may feel their situation is hopeless.
Nothing is impossible for God. He is able and can do all. I pray these four words encourage you today as you read this post. I don’t know what you’re doing through, but God does. He can do all for you too, dear friend.
Hi Annie
How big our All God is!
I often try to think about a God that created all, as King David said in the bible, such knowledge is to high for me.
Very hard to grasp.
Hubby Mike
Yes, so true. This same God that David speaks about, lives inside of us. The fullness of that is hard to grasp at times. The good nes is, as believers we know it’s true. Hallelujah!
