Much gloom and doom is broadcasted on the daily news, and many people believe we are witnessing what was prophesized in the Bible before Jesus returns to earth. Is there any need to fear? No, but we need to be prepared for what’s coming our way.
Satan makes it easy for us to be afraid. We turn on the TV and see clips of the devastation from earthquakes, floods, forest fires, massive tornadoes, and terrorist attacks. A world-wide pandemic causes fear and havoc in people as their lives drastically change. Suddenly, jobs are lost, businesses, schools, and churches are closed. along with a multitude of sickness and death. Be assured, God will protect us in times likes these.
Various Scriptures speak of protection but my favorite is Psalm 91. It covers everything we will ever need to be protected from. Read through it again and see for yourself.
Testimony stories are shared by numerous people who stood on the protection promises provided in Psalm 91, and God spared their homes, their lives, and whatever else they were need of protection.
I encourage you to read Psalm 91 out loud often. Some read it daily and I understand why. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Thank you Lord for Your promise to protect me from whatever comes my way. I need not be afraid of anything. Whenever I call upon Your Name, I can count on You to provide help in my time of need.
