God’s Will Is To Heal – His Word Says So!

Yes, God’s will is to heal because His Word says so. There’s ample Scriptures in the Old and New Testament to support God’s will to heal. Malachi 3:6 says, “I am the Lord, I do not change;” and Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Acts 10:34, reaffirms that God is no respecter of persons. What He does for one, He will do for another. And time is of no essence to the Lord, His timing is always perfect.

Let’s dig into the Bible and discover Scriptures that support God’s will is to heal. There’s more than what’s provided, but enough to validate what God wants me to share in this message.

Old Testament

I am the Lord who heals you. Exodus 15:26

If you worship the Lord your God, I will bless your bread and your water. I will take away sickness from you. I will fulfill the number of your days. Exodus 23:25, 26

I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. I will heal you. 2 Kings 20:5

O Lord my God, I cried to You, and You healed me. Psalm 30:2

The Lord will give them strength when they are sick and he will make them well again.  Psalm 41:3

He sent His Word and He healed them Psalm 107:20

I will not die, but live, and I will tell what the Lord has done. Psalm 118:17

Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near, says the Lord, and I will heal him. Isaiah 57:19

I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord. Jeremiah 30:17

I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth. Jeremiah 33:6

New Testament

“Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus reached out His hand and touched him, saying, “I will. Be clean.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:2-3

Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” Matthew 8:7

Jesus went throughout all Galilee, and healing all kinds of sickness and all sorts of diseases among the people. Matthew 4:23

And great crowds followed Him, and He healed them all. Matthew 12:15

And He was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick. Matthew 14:14

And healed those who had need of healing. Luke 9:11

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. James 5:15

The above Scriptures confirm its God’s will to heal. Jesus said in Mark 9:23, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” In Mark 11: 22-23, Jesus answers, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain. ‘Go fall into the sea.” And if you have no doubts in your mind and believe what you say will happen, God will do it for you. So I tell you to believe that you have received the things you ask for in prayer and God will give them to you.”

We know with certainty its God’s will to heal. We can speak these healing verses over ourselves, and those we’re praying for. Let’s take God at His Word and believe, receive, and not doubt what He says concerning healing, and see it come to pass. Hallelujah!

Heavenly Father, Your Word clearly states that it’s Your will to heal, that You had compassion and healed all who came to You. And You’re no respecter of persons, healing belongs to me and I gladly receive in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
