Family Pet Brought Back To Life!

I often tell people, “What concerns you, concerns God.” Some nod their head in agreement in understanding, while others simply shrug my words off. They don’t comprehend how much God loves them, and what He is willing to do for them.

I want to share an amazing testimony story with you that prove my words are true. God was concerned about one family’s beloved pet, named Kip.

On Sunday, April 3rd, a group of us decided to have lunch after church. We were gathered around the table at the restaurant when our pastor’s cell phone rang. He looked at the Caller ID, and said, “It’s Catlin, my grandson.”  Not long into the conversation we heard him say, “What’s wrong?” They finished their conversation and he ended the call.

Pastor Ed shared with us what his grandson told him. Catlin and his wife Tiffany were at home in their livingroom. Catlin was playing ball with Kip, a nine-year-old boxer, with the energy of a puppy. Kip was having a grand time when he suddenly dropped to the floor near Tiffany’s feet. It was obvious he had a seizure as his tongue was hanging out. He then lost use of his bodily functions. When he quit breathing and had no heartbeat or pulse, they knew he was dead. They were in shock! Tiffany looked at Catlin and said, “We’ve got to pray.”

They immediately got on their knees and prayed over their beloved pet. “Please Lord, don’t take our boy.”  After some time; which seemed liked forever, Kip took a big gasp of air and started to come back to life. He arose from the floor, giving them doggy kisses. Their 17-year-old daughter Kira, witnessed her parents praying over Kip and saw for herself how God answered their prayer. She said, “I wasn’t totally sure about God, but I believe in Him now.”

I chose the Scripture image for James 5:16 for a reason. Catlin couldn’t wait to share this amazing testimony with his grandparents. He quickly shared the story with family and friends on Facebook. These are his words, “I don’t care who you are, where you are from, religious or not. PRAYER WORKS. I literally seen our dog die in front of my own eyes.”

Here’s a picture of Kip; you can see for yourself that he is alive and well. Catlin and his family have another dog named Milo. They love their fur babies.

I pray this testimony story serves as a reminder that what concerns you, concerns God. And never underestimate the power of prayer, it really works!
