Amazing Healing Testimony

Victory will come when we speak God’s Word in faith over what we’re believing to come to pass in our lives. Speaking and declaring God’s Words out loud brings results. Romans 10:17 says, “So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” When we speak God’s promises out loud, we’re hearing them too. God’s Words are entering our hearts and minds, building up our most holy faith. What happens when God’s Words are spoken in faith? The answer is found in Isaiah 55:11, “It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” I love it when the word all is among God’s promise.!

I wish to share with you an amazing healing testimony. I believe it will give you hope and encouragement. God in no respecter of persons. What He does for one, He will do for another. It is true, all is possible for those who believe.

My husband, Mike, injured his back at work in January 2021 that caused severe sciatic pain. He couldn’t sleep due to the pain, and daily tasks became difficult. He tried to function without pain medication but wasn’t able to. His doctor prescribed 3 different pain medications, which helped some but not totally. The MRI and X-rays done showed a bulging disc in his back. Surgery was recommended and a referral made to consult with a surgeon in Saint John, NB.

Mike didn’t want surgery, but decided to meet the surgeon for a consultation. The surgeon’s office called to arrange a time and date. Upon hearing Mike was not vaccinated advised him no services could be provided at this time. 

Mike had been praying for healing from the moment he received the injury. He believed God was good, and no one was going to tell him anything different.

There’s power in prayer; Mike asked the church and others to pray for him. There’s power in speaking God’s Word; Mike read and confessed out loud “I Am Healed” a declaration written by Kenneth Copeland, and the verses on God’s Medicine, found in Charles Capps’ book, God’s Creative Power for Healing. Mike kept on declaring, “I am healed” even when in severe pain, he believed healing would come.

Here comes the praise report! In January 2022, one year after being injured, Mike’s received his healing and is now pain free. Earlier this week he received another call from the surgeon’s office in Saint John. He returned the call and left a brief message, “Thank you for calling. I was prayed over at church, and was divinely healed by the Lord. I won’t be needing your service.” He can only speculate what they thought. He knows God healed him, and that’s what matters.

We sing together at church. After finishing a song, Mike said, “I have to obey the Lord.” Three times, he ran around the church in a Jericho, carrying his guitar and speaking in tongues. The congregation witnessed a happy and healthy brother in the Lord.

Why are testimony stories so important? Revelation 12:11 says, “We overcome the Devil by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimonies.” The Devil trembles on hearing the word, Jesus or the Blood of the Lamb. He knows he has to flee upon hearing those words.

Testimony stories are opportunities to give thanks and praise to the Lord for answered prayer, for all His goodness in our lives. The stories provide living proof that the Devil is a liar and defeated again.
