When I came across Galatians 5:1, the word “freedom” jumped out at me. From reading the Bible we know the freedom Jesus gave came with a cost. Jesus, our Lord and Savior paid the ultimate price for us to be free. He died a horrible death on the cross so we could be free from the bondage of sin, free from sickness and diseases, and so much more. Yes; Jesus’ death paid it all, and we must never take the freedom He’s given us for granted.
Christians share their testimony stories so others will know that freedom from sin is possible. That it doesn’t matter whether the sin committed was recent or happened years ago. They understand the meaning of John 8:36, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” And what’s written in John 8:32, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
The Bible is filled with God’s truth and promises. If Bible reading is new to you, I encourage you to begin in the Book of John. May the truth of God’s Words completely fill your heart and mind.
Freedom is a precious commodity. Men and women fight in wars for freedom, and lives are lost. Many return, but are never the same. Yes, freedom comes with a cost.
What is going on throughout the world today? People in record numbers are fighting for freedom. Why do you suppose that is so? One answer may be found in Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.”
Christians and non-Christians alike are tired of the restrictions and mandates put on them. They had enough of government leaders enforcing laws that have caused severe hardship to people on all levels, and walks of life. People want the freedom to choose for themselves; not have government authorities enforcing decisions that go against their will or beliefs. Christians read, “We must obey God and not man.” found in Acts 5:29. Fighting for religious freedom comes at a cost. So will whatever the non-believers are fighting for. It’s amazing to see both sides are coming together in unity, fighting for freedom.
God sees all; He hears all prayers; He loves justice. I believe we will be amazed by what transpires. People across the world know freedom comes with a cost, and are willing to take a stand to get it back. May God be with them, Amen.

Thanks for this topic, a great reminder so we don’t take our freedom for granted anymore!
Yes, that is certainly true. May God be with us today, and in the ones to come. Amen
