The Lord Will Fulfill His Purpose For Me

I purposely chose the Scripture image with Psalm 138:8. Let me explain why. My husband, Michael, (Mike), gave his heart to the Lord 38 years ago. When he got born again, he started out as a baby Christian, not knowing what the Lord had in store for him. We read in Ephesians 4:11, where the Apostle Paul states, “He gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of service, and for the building up of the body of Christ.” What the Lord gave is referred to as the five-fold ministry.

Proverbs 18:16 says, “A man’s gift will make room for him, and brings him before great men.”  So true, which is very evident in how Mike’s gift made room for him.

Over time, it became evident that God had anointed Mike to be evangelist. He loves to stir up the people; and those who hear Mike deliver a message, can attest he’s full of joy. And he’s not one bit concerned over what others think. Mike is totally free in how he ministers the Word, and worships the Lord. I’ve heard and watched many seasoned evangelists, and Mike Madore is gifted, just as they are. No one falls asleep in church when Mike’s delivers a message.

In January 2018, Mike and I attended a special service held at Cornerstone Worship Centre here in Fredericton. We wanted to hear the guest speaker, Prophet Lloyd Bustard. The church was packed and when he invited people to come up front, Mike and I left our seats and made our way there. Excitement filled the air as people waited to hear a Word from Lord through Prophet Bustard.

Prophet Bustard circulated through the crowd, laying his hands and prophesizing over different individuals. Suddenly; he was in front of Mike. He placed his hand on Mike’s head and said, “Doors are going to open for you within six months.”  Mike was filled with the Holy Ghost and danced with joy. We left the service full of expectation, knowing the Lord was moving us into a new direction.

Mike and I love country-style gospel music so I suggested we attend an evening service at Springs of Living Water; a small country church in Upper Hainesville, NB, pastored by Edward and Bermalea Guiggey, a couple I knew from years ago. The moment we walked in the door, we felt at home, and in March 2018, we started attending there full time. Pastor Ed acknowledged that Mike was an anointed evangelist, and gave him the opportunity to minister the Word.  The door had opened and we didn’t have to wait six months. God is good!

Mike and I love to sing and worship the Lord together. What a blessing to be told, “You two have a music ministry.” Yes, God will fulfill His purpose for us as a couple too. It’s so encouraging when people say, “I love hearing you sing together.”

In September 2020, Pastor Guiggey and his wife became pastors of a second church, New Road Pentecostal Church in Lower Durham, NB. Pastoring two churches carries a lot of responsibility. Mike and do what we can to assist them.

Later that month a Pastors’ Conference was scheduled to be held at the church, hosted by Bishop Terry McAllister of the New Road Apostolic Fellowship. Pastor Guiggey invited Mike to attend the conference. Wonderful opportunity for Mike to be among those anointed in the five-fold ministry. Pastor Ed spoke with Bishop McAllister about Mike and they agreed that Mike should receive his Minister’s License. The door was opened for Mike to officially minister the Word. He left that meeting as Reverend Michael Madore. Ordination would follow at a later date, giving him authority to marry people.

Pastor Guiggey knows full well the responsibility required of a minister, and in pastoring a church. He mentors Mike to the best of his ability, to equip and prepare him for whatever the Lord may call him to do. This Blog post is about Mike, and I understand my role as a minister’s wife needs to be taken seriously as well. I’m grateful to have Bermalea Guiggey as a role model and friend.

On Friday, October 15th, 2021, Reverend Michael Madore was ordained in God’s appointed time. Thirty-eight years after being saved and born again. We know God’s timing is always perfect, never too early or late.

Will the Lord continue to open doors for Reverend Michael and Anne-Marie Madore? Yes; we believe He will, with the understanding in His time and way. God ways are higher than ours, and He knows best. All we have to do is trust Him and allow Him to fulfill the purposes He has for us individually and as a couple.
