Hope Is Elevated By Trusting God

The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. So where does hope come from?

Hope like faith comes from and by the Word of God. The Bible contains over 7000 promises from God. Be confident that what you’re hoping for is among those promises.

Hope is elevated by trusting God to do what He promises in His Word, in His time and way. Simply put, faith, hope, and patience work together. What if we have faith but it’s taking a long time for what we’re hoping and believing for to come to pass. What should we do then?

Continually thank God for what we are hoping for; believe, remain patient, and wait. Let’s consider patience this way. Patience is having confident trust and expectation, based on faith and hope, that God will do what He says in His Word.

Lord, I choose to put my faith, hope, and trust in You. Faith encourages me to believe what I’m hoping for will come to pass in Your time and way. Patience enables me to wait and never lose hope. Trust gives me joy and peace that You will do as Your Word says.
