God Crowns 2022 With Abundance

Another New Year is fast approaching and we say goodbye to 2021. What can we expect for 2022?  Those who believe in God and what He promises in His Word can look forward to a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. The Scripture image provided is for Psalms 65:11, “You crown the year with Your goodness. And Your paths drips with abundance.”

Let’ take a deep look inside the Bible and find the verses that support this statement.

Psalm 68:19. “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.” Did you notice the word “daily”? That means not some days but every day.  Our lives are filled with daily provisions from the Lord. May we never take them for granted; but remember to give thanks daily for all He has provided, not just our food at meal times.

What else does the Lord give in abundance?

Lamentations 3:22-23: “It is of the Lord mercies that we are not consumed, His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness.”

Just think about it. God’s mercies are new every morning. God is compassionate and is faithful. No matter how many times we mess up, He is faithful and forgiving. He is so willing to give us another chance to try again. If He wakes us up in the morning; He is giving us a brand new day with fresh abundance of opportunities and possibilities.

Psalms 103:3-10 lists an abundant of benefits available to God’s children:

Forgives all our sins; Heals all our diseases; Redeems our life from destruction; Crowns us with loving kindness and tender mercies; Satisfies our mouth with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s; Executes righteousness and judgment for us against oppression; Sets us free; Makes known His ways to us; Gives us His grace and mercy in times of need.

The first two benefits contain the word “all”. He forgives all our sins; none is greater than the other. When we repent and ask forgiveness; He doesn’t remember those sins any more. They are wiped away from His memory forever.

He heals all our diseases. Every kind of sickness and diseases prevalent in the world today including those that are extremely rare. When He went to the cross, He took the sickness of mankind on His own body so we would be free from sickness and disease. He did that so we could have an abundance of good health.

Philippians 4:19: “My God shall supply your every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

God knows we have daily needs; and we can trust Him to supply them in His time and way. There are volumes of testimony stories that attest to the truth of his verse. God is no respecter of persons; what He does for one, He will do for another. Believe and trust are the key elements; we have to believe and trust that He will provide.

Hebrews 13:8: “Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.”

This verse tells us Jesus never changes; He is the same every day. The abundance of benefits and blessings He provides are available every day throughout the year.

3 John 2: (Amplified Version): I came that they have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”

These are the beautiful words of Jesus that remind us of why He came to earth. It’s true; He will crown the year 2022 with His goodness, and His paths will drip abundance. Because God is good all the time!
