Are you experiencing fear today? I heard an evangelist share an excellent acronym for fear: False Evidence Appearing Real.
I was given wise advice years ago. “Don’t believe everything you see or hear.”
Sometimes what we see or hear is not the absolute truth. Fear can creep in very easily if we’re not mindful of where it’s coming from. Here’s a simple truth – Faith comes from God – fear comes from Satan.
Is God asking you to do something for Him but fear holds you back? Stop and consider where the fear is coming from and push it aside. Instead, allow fear to be your motivator to move you forward into God’s plan for your life.
God says to, “Fear not.” Remember; God is more powerful than any fear Satan tries to instill in you. Be aware, he doesn’t give up easily either. Ephesians 4:27 says, “Don’t give the devil any room to defeat you.” When he tries to put fear on you, fight back with God’s Word. Tell him what God says about fear in Isaiah 41;10. Satan will know he’s lost the battle of fear because you found the way to defeat him.
Thank You Lord for always being with me. When fear tries to come upon me; I can push it aside, knowing with certainty You will provide all the help and strength I need to overcome it.
