Satan knows his time on the earth is short. His primary goal is to kill, steal, and destroy all that God intends for good. He’s a master in deception and will use whatever means he can to lure people away from the truth found in the Bible.
People may trust what they hear in the media, the government, and even the church as absolute truth. But is it?
The Bible says in the last days there will be a great falling away from the truth found in God’s Word. Could this be why evil is so rampant and everywhere? And we have seen nothing yet compared to what’s to come. Satan distorts the truth of God’s Word, so lies get spoken through the media, the government, and even the church. My Bible translation says, “Do not let anyone deceive you in any way.” God’s Word is true; to be effective, it must be read, studied, and applied daily. God cannot lie. His Word should be the deciding factor when we perceive we are being deceived in any way.
Thank you Lord for the wisdom found in the Bible. Your truth will enable me to be aware when I’m being deceived in any way.
