Do you ever question what God is doing or where He is when prayers appear to be unanswered? Have you ever asked Him, “God are You even listening?”
We read in the Bible that God loves it when we seek Him in prayer; that He hears our request the first time it goes up. Don’t be discouraged if the answer doesn’t come immediately, and don’t assume God is not listening.
God’s ways and thoughts are not like ours, and He tells us in Isaiah 55, His Words do not return to Him empty; “They make the things happen that I want to happen, and they succeed in doing what I send them to do.”
Some prayers don’t get answered in the way we want. Time allows us to build our trust in the Lord and give Him the opportunity to answer our prayers in ways we could never conceive or think possible.
God is always available. If not so, why would He say, “Those that seek Me will find Me.” He’s never too busy. If you have a need today; spend time in prayer, seek the Lord with your whole heart and allow Him to find you.
Thank you Lord for encouraging me to seek You in my times of need, instead of trying to do things on my own. I can always count on You to be available when I can upon Your Name.
