The Word Of God Holds True

Daily Bible reading is very important to me. I prefer to do my reading early in the morning before the busyness of the day sets in. I’m blessed to have a Kenneth Copeland Word of Faith Study Bible. I greatly appreciate the wisdom and knowledge given by Brother Copeland throughout the Bible.

Recently, I came across a teaching based on Matthew 21:19-22 titled – Have Faith and Doubt Not. Yes; I agree; Jesus always spoke the desired end result. Jesus spoke to that fig tree. He stated that the fig tree would dry up at the root and never produce fruit again. Jesus simply spoke the desired end result and expected it to happen.

Did you know that Jesus expects us to do the same? We can speak the desired end result too. I used the image for Psalm 33:4 because it’s a verse that I memorized years ago. It says, “For the Word God holds true.” Please repeat them with me. “For the Word of God holds true.” Faith enables us to believe God will do whatever He says in His Word. And that He will do it for us right now. Praise the Lord – thank you Jesus!

Let’s allow this to sink deeply into our hearts and minds. The truth is, whatever the Word of God says about our situations.

Let’s say we get a bad report from the doctor. Yes, we hear the facts given to us, but what what does God’s Word say? The truth is found in I Peter 2:24 and Isaiah 53:5, by Jesus’ stripes we are healed. The Bible is filled with stories of healing and scriptures that show God’s will regarding healing. And tit says in the Bible that Jesus healed them all! Jesus is the Great Physician. He is always on call and never too busy!

Whatever the need is, the answer is found in God’s Word. I love what is written in Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply your every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Did you notice? It says every need not just some. Again, God’s Word holds true. When we declare this verse over whatever we are in need of, we can expect God to provide in His time and way. Whether the need is small or great, God is able to provide. If you’re unsure, test Him on this and see what He does. You’ll be amazed, and will want to others what He’s done for you!

Here’s a word of encouragement. Always consider the good report of God’s Word, not the news report, the doctor’s report, nor the economy’s report. Have faith in God; His Word always holds true.

  1. God never forsakes His own and I have learned, in whatever circumstances I am to be content (from Philippians 4:13). This is because we cannot see the whole picture and whatever trials and tribulations we must face, there is a purpose and we should not compare with others because we all have a different journey. I have learned that when I go through a trial, it is only temporary and the circumstances will change in due season. The rainbow will always come after the rain and I can take comfort in knowing God keeps His promises.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
